Beautiful Weather

Happy Birthday Paige! Today is Michelle's youngest' 2nd birthday.

I was thinking today what a fantastic fall we're having. I was out today for a few minutes without a coat on and on Halloween it was quite warm. There's still butterflies, other insects and all kinds of birds around. They all seem more prominent now than in the summer. We have a few tiny birds, not sure what they are that seem to enjoy flying into our upstairs windows. It's very bizarre! They head towards the window, hit their beak, fly off and come back to try again. It's only been the last few weeks, we haven't figured out why but I have a feeling the sun being lower in the sky is causing a reflection!

It's still running about 13C-15C during the day, but getting chillier at night. I could definitely handle this year round. However, the temperatures will fall soon and I'll complain.

So I bought a wet suit online on Monday and I got it today. It's in excellent condition and I only paid £31 for it! That's about $62. It is a second hand suit, but I didn't want to spend a lot of money not knowing if this is going to be something I enjoy. Friday I'll have to spend some time shopping ebay again for boots, flippers, and a board. The boots are only because the water isn't going to be warm enough to not wear any soon.

Keith and I put together a huge duty free booze order tonight. We're allowed 3 months worth of our allowance since we live so far away. That means we're ordering 18 litres of alcohol! This will cover a small portion of Xmas and New Years. Haha.Oh the excitement.
