My Last Week of Work!

Today would have been my brother Jamie's 30th birthday. A bit of a sappy morning for me as I drove to work thinking about him.

Wow, my last week of work. It ended up being a busy week getting everything cleared up that had to be done. But I'm happy to be busy as it made it go by quickly. Thursday was my last day and the guys spoiled me rotten. They gave me an amazing bouquet of flowers, a bottle of pink champagne and an iPod Shuffle! Then afterwards they took my out for a drink. It was very nice! They had my iPod inscribed 'we'll miss you and your cakes'. It was really cute. I was always taking them in some kind of sweet and in England they kinda group sweets together as 'cakes' or 'pudding' when it's dessert. It was sad to say goodbye but I'm also very excited to have some time off to get all my 'to dos' done which seems like an exhausting list at the moment.

Yesterday I picked up a trimmer for Keith at Trago. He finally found one he liked so I picked it up on my lunch break. Thank God as our yard desperately needs some TLC.

As I wasn't interested in cooking by the time I got home we ordered pizza for supper and watched a movie.
