Keith was off early again today so once again, we checked out some of the pubs in Helston. We went to the Red Lion (apparently this is a popular pub name) for lunch and had a Prawn Bap. What's the hell is that you ask? Baps are buns. No idea where the term comes from but that's what they're called here. So hamburger buns are baps. Prawns seem to be the main seafood here, along with cod. They have prawn flavored everything! Even chips. Bizarre.
Mark had to experience the Blue Anchor and their Spingo, so off we went. I learned (from Keith) on this visit that the men's washroom is basically a trough. How nice! That's how old this place is! Classy!
Lastly, was a tour of Culdrose. Keith took Mark to where they believe he will be working at Depth Maintenance. He is an Aerospace Engineer - so is responsible for managing the guys who fix the aircrafts. That was it for the tour and he was off to Canada.
